About Mega-Museum
The Mega-Museum is an evolving VR museum built in public — starting with small, honest prototypes. Instead of hiding the mess, we invite people to walk through it with us and help guide what grows next.
Our promise: clarity about what’s live vs. what’s rough; frequent, visible progress; and community votes that influence our next steps.
Long-Term Plan — 3 Stages
Stage 1 (Now)
3D Comic Animation
A stylized “3D comic” look built from our VR sketches — bold shapes, hand-drawn vibes, and quick iteration. Short sequences released as we go.
- Design language: graphic, readable silhouettes
- Prototype quickly inside VR rooms
- Release mini-episodes + animatics
Stage 2
Stop-Motion Film
Tactile, handmade animation with miniature sets and puppets. Two routes are on the table: 3D-printed fabrication or a collaboration with professional stop-motion artists.
- 3D print or commission hero puppets + sets
- Fabrication bible: turnarounds, color keys, props
- Frame-by-frame animation, then comp + grade
Stage 3
Real Movie (Hybrid Live-Action)
A cinematic, world-scale story that blends practical sets, miniatures, and selective VFX. The museum becomes a place you can both visit and watch unfold.
- Live-action with practical builds & miniatures
- Hybrid pipeline (VR previz → practical → VFX polish)
- Festival cut + online release
How Co-Creation Drives the Plan
- Community votes lock character looks (clothes, accessories, face structure, names).
- Polls decide which rooms and set pieces get upgraded next.
- Suggestions feed gags, transitions, and hidden details across all stages.
